In silico screening of natural compounds targeting quorum sensing in Vibrio species

My undergraduate research explores natural compounds with potential to interfere with bacterial communication. I study receptor–ligand interactions, including the LuxN–HAI-1 signaling system, through molecular docking and computational screening.

The broader research direction is to explore alternatives for controlling bacterial pathogenicity, with potential relevance to sustainable aquaculture and reducing dependence on conventional antibiotics.

An ongoing undergraduate project. The focus is on investigating possibilities and interpreting evidence.
